PROGRAMS

Our programs include:

- Primary Montessori Sessions: 8am to 1pm

- Elementary Montessori Sessions: 8am to 2:00pm

- Aftercare Sessions: 2pm to 5pm

-Special Education for children with special needs: These are optional sessions in Speech and Movement therapy.

 

OUR CLASSES INCLUDE:

Europe: 1 - 2 year olds

Africa: 2 - 3 year olds

Oceania  2 and a half - 5 year olds

North America 3-6 year olds

Asia     3-6 year olds

south America 3-6  year olds

Lower Elementary: 6 - 9 year olds

Upper Elementary: 9 - 12 year olds 

MONTERSSORI PRE-SCHOOL

Our Pre-school is designed for children aged 1-6 years and the environment is prepared to accommodate the preschooler's various stages of development and the focus is on the development of the whole child.

Learning within our environment is divided into six basic interrelated curriculum areas:

-PRACTICAL LIFE

-SENSORIAL

-MATHEMATICS

-LANGUAGE

-CULTURAL SUBJECTS (History, Geography, Science and Art)

 

ELEMENTARY MONTESSORI

In addition to our well established and nurturing Pre-school, THE LEARNING PLACE runs an Elementary Montessori program for children aged 6-12 years.
